Mount  Hope 4-H Dairy Days Parade Friday

The Village of Mount Hope will hold the annual Mount Hope Dairy Day Parade on Friday night, June 18, 2021.  The Mount Hope Cardinal 4-H Club will offer food, drinks, and  desserts. Club members are planning to set up tents outside to offer drive-by service for those wishing to support the group to avoid interaction and offer a safer atmosphere.  Limited seating will be available at the Firehouse and Village Park for those who wish to eat on site.  The food will be served until the Parade at 8:00pm, which will be held Rain or Shine, and will reopen following the parade if supplies allow.

The parade line up will take place on the hill around 7:00pm, with judging to take place at 7:30pm.

Everyone is welcome to place entries in the parade with judged categories including;  marchers, youth groups, bands, commercial, organizational, antique cars, and tractors.  There will also be a place in the parade for royalty and politicians.   Children ages 4-6 are invited to participate in the King/Queen contest and ride on the float.

The Village of Mount Hope welcomes any participation and help in the planning of this traditional event which has been interrupted due to COVID-19, including ideas or volunteers to help with the Parade.

Anyone in the community who would like to donate a pie to the 4-H may drop it off by 3:00pm at the Mount Hope Fire House on Friday, June 18.
