Sammy Kershaw performed an acoustic show at the historical Grand Opera House in Dubuque, IA last night (Friday March 11th).
Sammy has been performing since the age of 12; playing in bars and honky-tonks. He opened up for country greats Ray Price, Merle Haggard, and George Jones. But his big break came in 1991 when he signed with Mercury records.
Sammy entertained with hits…”Cadillac Style”, “Don’t Go Near the Water”, “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful”, “Haunted Heart”, “Queen of My Double Wide Trailer”,
“Third Rate Romance”, “Vidalia”,”Love of My Life” and others. Sammy also sang some new music as well as some classic tunes from Paycheck, Harggard and Jones.
A great night of country music!!!
