Kip Moore dug deep into his private song stash to unveil the tender love song "Reason to Believe" in a live acoustic video. Press play above to watch the singer perform the unreleased track.

With his gritty voice and attention to lyrical detail at the forefront, Moore's heartland rock influences -- think Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp -- become increasingly obvious in "Reason to Believe." On his Instagram account, Moore writes, "I wrote this song probably 10 years ago. Sneaks up on me every now and then and I think about putting it on a record."

Moore recorded his "Reason to Believe" performance in an empty theater, adding to the intimate feel of the stripped-down, revealing song that taps into the "Young Love" singer's sensitive side. It should also remind fans that, despite past chart success, Moore still performs at clubs and theaters around the country and overseas.

"Reason to Believe" is one of several rarities from a scrapped track list, replaced by the songs on Moore's 2015 album Wild Ones. Such deep cuts leave fans with a valid question: How good are Moore's other songs that were left on the cutting room floor?

To hear more bare-bones versions of Moore's songs, fans can check out his acoustic EP, Room to Spare: The Acoustic Sessions. Better yet, Moore's currently on an intimate, acoustic tour; the trek will run through the end of May, with Muscadine Bloodline providing opening support on most dates.
