Blair's original state charges included:

  • Two counts of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver (Class X Felony)
  • Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Class X Felony)
  • Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Class 1 Felony)
  • Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 1 Felony)

Blair has been in custody since late January, when his case first began at the local level.

The arrest first occurred on Monday, January 26th, 2026. On that date at around 7 PM, multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a residence in Stockton. Those agencies included the Stockton Police Department, Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police (State Line Area Narcotics Team, or SLANT), and the CIRT tactical team.

According to authorities, three adult men were detained inside the residence during the search. Investigators reported finding approximately 113.5 grams of methamphetamine, along with 997 orange pills identified as a controlled substance. Officers also recovered drug paraphernalia and an additional white powdery substance.

Blair was identified as the owner of the residence. He was arrested and initially charged with the four counts above. Blair was taken to the Jo Daviess County Jail; however, the two other men detained at the scene were later released without charges.

As the case developed, prosecutors filed more serious charges, including multiple felony counts related to possession and intent to deliver. However, State Attorney Allendorf has confirmed that those state charges have now been dismissed following the federal indictment. Blair has since been turned over to the federal authorities.

The case now involves additional agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Attorney’s Office in Rockford. In the press release, Allendorf emphasized that there is no parole in the federal prison system, highlighting the severity of the charges as they proceed to a federal level. ith any case, all suspects are considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
