If your struggling with your state of mind or mental health during this current COVID-19 pandemic, there is help available.
COVID Recovery Iowa is doing the work of trying to help all Iowans stay resilient and cope with the pandemic, especially as we look ahead to the isolation of winter and the blues that holiday seasons seem to bring on.  With the added uncertainty about jobs and finances as well, COVID Recovery Iowa is for Iowans who have been impacted in any way by COVID-19 and the recent derecho. This is free, confidential virtual counseling, group activities, support groups and resources to all Iowans. Get information and referrals about where Iowans can find rental and financial assistance in their areas.
COVID Recovery Iowa is administered by the Iowa Department of Human Services, made possible with support from FEMA, and is an extension of Project Recovery Iowa. COVID Recovery Iowa utilizes partnerships with a statewide network of service delivery providers to determine how best to serve each individual participant.
Stay safe and take care of yourself...physically and mentally.  Remember there is help available.
