Elderly Epworth Woman Killed by Vehicle on Placid Road on Tuesday

Here's an update on yesterday's Pedestrian/Car accident on Placid Road

On 08/13/2016 at approximately 4:38 PM, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Epworth EMS responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Placid Road south of Epworth.  William Conrad (80) of Epworth was northbound on Placid Road when he struck Lois Smith (82) who was crossing the road.  Smith died as a result of her injuries.  The incident remains under investigation at this time.
