Charley Pride Performs @ 5 Flags

Sounds of Country Traditional Music could be heard from Dubuque's Five Flags Civic Center Friday night.
Local favorite band; Country Traditions opened up the night singing favorite cover tunes to get the crowd warmed up. Then Country Music Legend and Grand Ole Opry member Charley Pride took to the stage; in front of an enthusiastic audience. The 90min show was full of hits like; "Is Anybody Going to San Antone" , "Just Between You and Me", "Crystal Chandeliers", "Wings of a Dove", "You're My Jamaica", "Mountain of Love", "Kiss an Angel Good Morning", and "Kaw-Liga" just to name a few. (Charley has had 40 #1 singles in his lustrous career.)
What an awesome night of country music!!! For those who attended we hope you enjoyed it. Hopefully next spring we can do it again...stay tuned to WJOD.
