Bankston Road Fire Damages Machine Shed

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office reports responding to a structure fire along with Fire Departments from Epworth, Farley, Holy Cross, and Centralia-Peosta, at 23370 N. Bankston Rd for a report of a structure fire this morning.

A machine shed was found to be fully engulfed in flames. The homeowner, Joe Wolf, said he was welding in the machine shed shortly before the he noticed flames along a wall in the same area. Nothing appears suspicious at this time, and the damage is estimated to be in excess of $200,000.
