It has aired on other TV stations and been featured on various web sites across the nation including this one from Tampa. Way to show 'em how it's done, Betty & Vernon!
Dubuquers Vernon and Betty Sohm have been leading their neighborhood in a rendition of "God Bless America" every night promptly at 6 during the pandemic. The couple has kept the ritual every night since the beginning of April. Neighbors say they love singing along, and knowing that the Sohms are doing OK.
