At a recent Pittsburgh show, the country star told the crowd that he had been tapped to contribute to the #DanceOrDonate challenge, a viral movement that calls on people to either dance for 15 seconds in memory or support of someone battling cancer, or to donate $10 or more to the United Cancer Front.

"So I am going to, in honor of that challenge, in Pittsburgh right now with 20,000 of my friends watching, I'm gonna dance," Rhett explained to the crowd, adding that before he did, he had a few people of his own to challenge. The singer then named Bruno Mars, Charlie Puth and Luke Combs as those next up to participate in the @DanceOrDonate movement.

"In this next bit, I'm gonna dance. It would be amazing if you could dance, because you're probably gonna end up on The Today Show. We got a deal?" Rhett added, as the crowd roared in response.

In addition to calling out Rhett as the challenge's next participant, there was another country element to Kotb's initial post: The song she chose to dance to was Lil Nas X's crossover country hit, "Old Town Road."
