Milsap led the first verse, while LBT's Kimberly Schlapman took lead on the first verse. As Milsap and Little Big Town harmonized on the chorus -- which pulls from the Five Satins' 1956 hit "In the Still of the Night" -- Fallon joined them at the mic as well.

"Lost in the Fifties Tonight" was originally released as a single in 1985, and became a No. 1 country hit; it was the top country song, according to Billboard, of that year, and also peaked in the Top 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Milsap won Best Country Vocal Performance at the Grammys for the song as well.

Milsap and Little Big Town collaborated on "Lost in the Fifties Tonight" for Milsap's recently released The Duets album. The project also features appearances from Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves and more.
