Police Warn of Scammers in Cascade, Iowa Area. Seeks The Publics’ Help

On January 25th, 2021, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Cascade Police Department with a scam investigation. The scammers phoned the victims, claiming to need money to get a grandchild out of legal trouble. The scammers then arranged for an accomplice to pick up cash from the victim’s residence. We are asking anyone living near Cascade High School that has security cameras on their house to review footage between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM on January 25th.
