Midland singer Mark Wystrach and his wife, entrepreneur Ty Haney, have had a "wild and unexpected" welcome to parenthood, they report. The country star and the founder and CEO of the clothing company Outdoor Voices introduced their new baby girl to the world on Friday (Nov. 29).

Sundance "Sunny" Leon Haney-Wystrach was born prior to Thanksgiving, but her entrance into the world was not without complications. The baby girl and her parents have spent a week in the hospital, Wystrach and Haney write on Instagram; although they have not shared further details of Sunny's birth, the circumstances were enough to force Midland to postpone their upcoming UK tour so that Wystrach can be at home with his wife and daughter.

Fortunately, baby Sunny "is strong, beautiful and an absolute joy!" according to her parents -- and, as of Friday, has been given a clean bill of health, so Wystrach and Haney will be able to take their daughter home on Saturday (Nov. 30).

"So grateful for our amazing doctors and nurses who have taken the best care of us and to our friends and family for all the love, prayers and support!" Wystrach writes. "The power of love and positivity is a real thing!"

Wystrach and Haney announced her pregnancy back in July. At the time, Wystrach called the news "the most exciting thing that has happened in my life."

"Talk about something that makes you really take a step back and truthfully assess who you are and who you wanna be for this young little one," he added. "We’re thrilled and terrified to go through this beautiful, life-changing experience and start a little beautiful family together."

Wystrach and Haney got engaged in May. They celebrated their wedding in early October.
