OK here's the latest from the government about our diets.  Too much sugar and not enough vegetables.Read the whole story HERE.  But here's the short version...you and I are eating and drinking too much sugar and NOT eating enough veggies. I didn't need the government to tell me that, my wife Shari has been telling me that for years. Here's the problem....I don't like salads, never have and probably never will. I do like some vegetables (carrots, corn, beans, red beets) but apparently those aren't the "right" vegetables to like.  So it's tough for me to get enough vegetables each day.  Add the fact that I love potatoes and meat, and that just adds insult to injury. Fish is supposed to be good for you, but I don't like fish so I almost never eat it.  I've tried to alter my diet, and I have sometimes for a while....but then it's seems I slowly slip back into my old habits.  So after finding out this week that both my blood sugar and cholesterol are a little high, I guess I'll have to try adjusting My diet again....but not til after Burger Night tonight at the Asbury Eagles Club.  After all it's for charity!  Ken
