(Listen) Tim’s Chat with Charlie Daniels

The news of Charlie Daniel’s passing on Monday hit my gut in a way I didn’t expect.   Charlie always held a special place in my heart, and I liked this world better when he was still in it.  Last fall I was fortunate enough to be able to interview him.  I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to let him know that he was important to me, so I let him know in advance of our radio interview that I was a lifelong fan.  He was gracious and let me babble like a dope.  The 4+ minutes of audio in the Youtube video featured here is mainly pulled from our pre-interview conversation.  Please pardon my awkwardness, and the rather rough editing.
