Kacey Musgraves continues to share the beauty of Golden Hour with another performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, this time bringing the sobering "Space Cowboy."

Musgraves, who appeared on the Ellen Show earlier in 2018 with "High Horse," followed up with an equally compelling performance this time around. Dressed in a sleek black jumpsuit with glitter stitching, the eclectic star delivered the touching number with poise and ease.

Her voice glowing like the spinning disco ball shimmering overhead, Musgraves soared with the liberating song that finds her gracefully letting go of a love that's run its course. "'Cause I know my place / And it ain't with you / Sunsets fade and love does too / Though we had our day in the sun / When a horse wants to run / Ain't no sense in closing the gate / You can have your space cowboy," she sings poetically, as the disco ball spins and gives the effect of purple confetti falling around the stage.

"Space Cowboy" is the first song the burgeoning superstar released off Golden Hour prior to its March of 2018 release. The album, which achieved universal critical acclaim and became Musgraves' third album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, also made her the lone female in the category of Album of the Year for the 2018 CMA Awards nominees. She's also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.

She's set to embark on the European leg of her 2018 Oh, What a World Tour beginning on Oct. 21 in the Netherlands and will make her way across the U.S. and Canada on the North American portion of the trek in early 2019, kicking off in Indianapolis on Jan. 9.
