Joe Diffie Brings COUNTRY to the Grand Opera House
If you like good ole country music the Grand Opera House was the place to be Saturday night. Joe Diffie performed an acoustic show in front of a SOLD OUT audience. New comer David Adam Byrnes opened the show. Joe took us back in time with hits like; "Home", "If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets)", "Is It Cold in Here", "Ships That Don't Come In", "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)", "John Deere Green", "Pickup Man", "So Help Me Girl", "Bigger Than the Beatles", "C-O-U-N-T-R-Y", "Texas Size Heartache", "A Night to Remember", and classic song "Behind Close Doors"(Charlie Rich). Another awesome night of country music in Dubuque.
Save the date September 9th for WJOD's next country concert at the Grand Opera House. Artist TBD.
