Caitlin Clark Joins Basketball’s Biggest Stars on Team USA

There is no doubt about it. Team USA is stacked! The lineup has been revealed for the team that will compete at the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup next month, and yes, it includes Caitlin Clark.

CBS Sports reports that Team USA will be represented by the best players in women's basketball when it takes on the rest of the world at the FIBA Women's World Cup next month in Germany. Players include Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, Aliyah Boston, A'Ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, and more!

When Is the FIBA Women's World Cup?

The event takes place during the WNBA season. CBS Sports reports that the league will take a break from August 31st through September 16th so players can participate. The tournament itself is from September 4th-13th in Berlin, Germany. Starting in 2030, the tournament will take place after the WNBA season in November and December.

Team USA will look to continue its dominance on the international stage. CBS Sports reports that Team USA will be seeking its fifth straight Women's World Cup Championship. The women's team hasn't lost in international competition since 2006. I don't see this team ending either streak!

Joining Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston on the team is Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White, who will serve as an assistant coach for Team USA.
