Granger Smith's latest alter-ego video will leave you saying umm, what? The country singer parodied his hit "Happens Like That" Weird Al Yankovich style, making it "I Happen to Like Cats" for a totally amusing celebration of felines.

The off-the-wall music video finds Smith at 'home' on his couch, surrounded by all of his cats — seven, actually — and all sorts of feline paraphernalia, like pillows, artwork and a cat gym.

"I happen to like cats / Give me a feline over a canine / They got nine lives / Who needs a spouse / When you've got pussycats all over the house," the not-so-disguised star belts, wearing a custom-made "I Happen to Like Cats" T-shirt.

Milo, Sprinkles, Snowball and Mr. Dingles are at the center of Smith's world as he sits covered in cat hair and sings about his feline friends, even going so far as to try a bite of their food. Later, he has to bust out the Cortisone cream for a flea infestation, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

"It's Saturday night / What could be better / Than crocheting cat names all over my sweater?" Smith ponders. As for what Earl Dibbles Jr. would think of this, the jury is still out.

While Smith took on "I Happen to Like Cats" solo, he co-wrote the parody's inspiration — "Happens Like That," the lead single off his 2017 album When the Good Guys Win album — with Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, Justin Smith and Andy Albert. The song cracked the Top 15 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
