Dubuque’s Veterans Memorial Plaza Progress

Improvements to Veterans Memorial Plaza in Dubuque continue to impress.  Check out some video and pics of the latest, taken today.

The City of Dubuque web site says the memorial "offers visitors a feeling of tranquility, honor and respect of our nation’s veterans."

We're told that looking up inside the sculpture now being installed will give a sense of what Dubuque's Chaplain Schmitt last saw, as he died rescuing fellow sailors.
