Dubuque Halloween Parade Monday Oct 30th

NO CANDY TO BE HANDED OUT DURING THIS YEAR'S HALLOWEEN PARADE IN DUBUQUE.

The Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA, a local non-profit serving the Tri-States, proudly presents the 2017 Halloween Parade. Your participation and support of this community-wide event is welcomed and appreciated. Line Up begins promptly at 5:30 pm at Jackson Park. Parade begins at 6:30 pm and ends at Washington Park. We ask that all floats and walking groups have a large sign announcing their group during the parade. We also ask that all floats supply 2 escorts to walk along each side of your float for the entire parade.

DUE TO PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERNS, THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE DUBUQUE COMMUNITY YMCA/YWCA PARADE OFFICIALS PROHIBIT THE HANDOUT OR TOSSING OF CANDY AND/OR OTHER MATERIALS. VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARADE AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN NEXT YEAR’S PARADE.
