Dubuque County Barn Fire

At about 3:23 this morning,  the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office along with New Vienna Fire, Holy Cross Fire, and Dyersville Fire responded to the Hoefler Farm at 28369 Tom Lucas Rd for a report of a barn fire. The barn was fully engulfed and was extinguished by the responding fire departments. The grain barn was a total loss. The house and a vehicle sustained heat damage. Damage is estimated at approximately $25,000. No injuries were reported. The fire doesn't appear to be suspicious at this time.
