Update 05/04/2021: Central Ave. Lane Open Dubuque Area Road Report May 4, 2021
US 3 Central Avenue in Dubuque (northbound) due to private utility work near the intersections of E. 25th St. and E. 28th St., the northbound lane of Central Ave. has been completed and both lanes are open.
Dubuque Area Road Report May 4, 2021
US 61 southbound: Right lane closed between the Mississippi River bridge and IA 946 (near Dubuque) due to construction work. From 8:00AM to 7:00PM on weekdays and Saturdays until May 19, 2021 at about 7:00PM.
Intermittent Lane closures will be experienced on US 52 in both directions between IA 136; US 20 and IA 3. Utility work is in progress. A lane is closed intermittently from 8:00AM to 4:30PM on weekdays until the afternoon of May 5th.
Traffic will be impacted on Sundown Road from U.S. 151 to Monastery Road, for concrete work. Travel will be restricted to one lane with a pilot car the project was expected to be completed by today.
Wisconsin 133 is closed at Cassville with detours in place. Work should be completed by mid-September.
City Street and Lane Closures include:
- Due to Bee Branch Project-related construction, W. 17th Street in Dubuque between Central Ave. and Iowa St. will be closed. The project includes underground utilities and the installation of stormwater trench drains across W. 17th St. near Heeb St. The estimated completion date is July 12. Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour.
- Merchants Lane will be closed between Foye St. and Gold St. for pavement restoration from 7 AM Monday, May 3 to 5 PM Wednesday, May 5. Motorists should use an alternate route.
