Disaster Training Event April 19 at the Dubuque Regional Airport

Just a heads up...there's a disaster coming to the Dubuque Regional Airport. The good news is IT"S ONLY A DRILL! Events will be designed to look very real.

REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A DRILL!.

Dubuque Regional Airport in cooperation with American Red Cross, Dubuque City Dispatch, Fire, Health, Police and Transit Departments, Dubuque County Emergency Management Agency, Health Department, Law Enforcement and Mutual Aid, and Finley and Mercy Hospitals, will be hosting the 2022 Full Scale Triennial Disaster Drill on Tuesday April 19, 2022. This Full-Scale Drill will be held at Dubuque Regional Airport

Media is encouraged to check in at the Dubuque Regional Airport Terminal, 10965 Aviation Drive, for escort at 11:30 am. Public observers can view some of the activity from the EAA Observation Area off Aviation Drive. The optimum viewing time is estimated to be between 11:45 pm – 12:45 pm.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires all Commercial Service Airports to exercise their emergency plan by administering a full-scale exercise once every three (3) years.
