Deana Carter Graces Five Flags Theater

WJOD was proud to welcome Deana Carter to the historical Five Flags Theater stage Thursday evening.  It has been 25 years since the album "Did I Shave my Legs for This" was released.  This resulting in three number one singles and CMA single of the year; "Strawberry Wine".

Local country favorite, The Jimmy Welty Band opened the night with their traditional country sound.

Deana's intimate acoustic show celebrated the 25th anniversary of the album release.  Deana shared stories of her musical path and sang inspiration songs which included hits "How Do I Get There", "Count Me In", "We Danced Anyway" and "Strawberry Wine". The crowd danced and sang the night away.
