We all make mistakes. But CNN made a huge error on Twitter that cause a tidal wave of slander aimed at them on Friday (Feb. 3). CNN tweeted out that Faith Hill would be releasing a duet album with the late rap icon the Notorious B.I.G.

Only one problem: It’s Biggie’s widow, Faith Evans, who is releasing the project and not Hill, who is a popular country singer and wife of fellow country legend Tim McGraw.

Twitter saw CNN's gaffe on their timeline and, of course, delivered an onslaught of slander, jokes and memes.

"Even Frederick Douglass knows that Faith Hill and Faith Evans are two different people," wrote one Twitter user. Another person tweeted, "Now I'm imagining a Faith Hill & Biggie mash up album & it might be lit."

Faith Hill seems like she's up for a Biggie duets album. She tweeted, "This sounds awesome!" And Faith Evans seems to concur: "Up for a bonus duet, Ms. Hill?"

CNN eventually corrected the tweet, writing that Faith Evans was the artist releasing the album. For the record: The duet album, The King & I: Faith Evans and the Notorious B.I.G., will hit stores on May 19, just two days before what would have been Biggie's 45th birthday.
