Country legend Clint Black will be joined by Lyle Lovett and Don Henley for an all-star fundraising concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey this November. Helping Texans: A Hurricane Harvey Benefit will take place at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, on Nov. 28.

Black, Henley and Lovett are all native Texans who felt the impact of Hurricane Harvey firsthand. Black, specifically, is a Houston native; Lovett was born there and raised in nearby Klein, while Henley is from Linden.

"We braced ourselves through the night as the flood waters grew closer to our family's doorsteps in Houston and Katy," Black recalls. "My mom, brothers, niece and nephews were all very fortunate, and I knew I had to find a way to help those who weren’t so lucky to recover and rebuild what was lost in the hurricane."

Adds Henley, "This is another example of Texans helping Texans, and I’m proud to be a part of it."

The funds raised from Helping Texans: A Hurricane Harvey Benefit will be allocated to charitable organizations in Aransas County, according to input from Black, Lovett, Henley and performance hall owner Ed Bass. They're underwriting all of the concert-related expenses so that 100 percent of the money raised can go to hurricane relief efforts.

“I'm honored to join fellow Texans Don Henley, Clint Black and Ed Bass to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey,” Lovett says in a press release. Lovett was also a part of George Strait's portion of the nationwide Hand in Hand benefit concert that took place on Sept. 12.

Tickets for Helping Texans: A Hurricane Harvey Benefit go on sale Sept. 22 at the Bass Performance Hall website.
