Clint Black and BlackHawk Kick Off America’s River Festival
America's River Festival Kicked off Friday Night with a "Flash Back to the 90's" featuring Clint Black and BlackHawk. Iowa's very own Elizabeth Mary opened up the night.
BlackHawk have been together for 25 years. They sang chart toppers "Down in Flames", "Goodbye Says It All", "Every Once in a While", "I'm Not Strong Enough to Say No", "Like There Ain't No Yesterday" among others.
Clint Black has been making music for over 30 years. With 22 number 1 singles you can say Clint has been a very successful singer/songwriter. "A Better Man", "When My Ship Comes", "No Time to Kill", "Like the Rain", "State of Mind", "A Good Run of Bad Luck" were just the tip of the ice berg.
Thank You America's River Festival for a wonder night of "Country" Music! Even Mother Natures attempt to scare us off didn't happen; cool but DRY!
Summer is just starting and more concerts to come. Stay tune to WJOD for all the details.
