Blake Shelton is releasing his song "I Lived It" to country radio. Readers can press play above to hear the song.

The final song on Shelton's newest album, Texoma Shore, "I Lived It" was written by Ashley Gorley, Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins and Ross Copperman. The tune looks back on memories from younger years: "Mama poured grease in a Crisco can," Shelton sings in the first verse, while in the second verse, he talks about how "Hollywood was fake and wrestling was real."

"That's the song that really stands out to everybody as maybe the best song on the album," Shelton says of "I Lived It," noting that the song takes him back to his childhood. The artist calls the track "one of the greatest songs I've ever had a chance to record."

"It's hard to listen to this song without relating to it and having it take you back in time," Shelton adds, "and it's hard not to fall in love with this song."

Texoma Shore was released in early November. It follows Shelton's 2016 album If I'm Honest.

“When you listen to the record, it will go from something traditional to something that will make your head spin, back to something even more traditional," says Shelton in press release. "That’s just what you can expect from one of my albums."
