Avery Foundation of Dubuque Hits $100,000 Donation Milestone
Congratulations to The Avery Foundation of Dubuque for hitting milestone this week with their awarding of their 164th grant. This grant pushes the Avery Foundation past $100,000.00 in grants awarded since the very first grant on December 12, 2017.
The Avery Foundation was established in March of 2017. Applicants can apply for grants to help with their financial burden during their treatments. The Avery Foundation’s Mission is “With care and concern for patients and families dealing with the stress of a cancer diagnosis, we want to help relieve some of the financial burden created by the cost of treatments.”
Ronald J. Avery, founder and president, said this about the milestone, “We are very thankful for all the wonderful people in the Tri-States that believe in our mission and donate to make this possible along with our corporate donors. We hope for continued support as we will not stop till cancer is no more!”
The Avery Foundation serves cancer patients in the following counties in Iowa: Dubuque, Delaware, Clayton, Jackson, They also serve Jo Daviess County in Illinois, Grant and Lafayette County in Wisconsin. Learn more HERE. y
