Congratulations to Angela, Winner of the Avelo Airlines Contest!

103.3 WJOD would like to congratulate Angela Kowalske, the winner of two roundtrip plane tickets courtesy of Dubuque Regional Airport and Avelo Airlines!

Angela entered the contest with the hopes of flying her and her mother to Las Vegas for a vacation in 2024. She was one of 700+ entrants in last month's contest, and she was selected as the winner of two roundtrip plane tickets!

It's been a busy year for Avelo Airlines and the Dubuque Regional Airport, as the two entities recently announced that they will be adding flights to Las Vegas, NV at the end of September.

Earlier this year, Jared Kruser of Dubuque won two roundtrip plane tickets via the "Phrase That Pays" contest with Avelo Airlines. Kruser was an Orlando native, and seized the opportunity to take a trip back to his home-city once he got the call that he was the winner.
