The city of Dubuque will be hosting a very special guest this week.According to a news release from the city, Lieutenant Colonel Greg Ank will spend 5 days in Dubuque this week as part of a new professional fellowship between the International City/County Managers Association and the U.S. Army.  Their goal is to enhance the commander's training and to provide they additional education, knowledge resources, and networking

Ank has been in the Army for nearly 18 years and is currently assigned at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He Will be taking garrison command of Carlisle Barracks, Pa.

During his time in Dubuque, Ank is attending meetings with City Manager Mike Van Milligen and other city staff as well as meeting with key city partners to learn more about city services and management practices.
