3 Vehicle Accident on Dubuque Bridge Under Investigation
A three-vehicle accident that happened on the Iowa/Wisconsin bridge at Dubuque, remains under investigation.
At about 1:45pm Friday (Feb. 19),Dubuque Police received a 911 call reporting that 3 vehicles had been involved in a traffic accident on the bridge, on Highway 151.
40 year old Roy Turner if Dubuque was northbound, when an SUV driven by 24 year old Max Hinderman-Tilt rear-ended Turner's vehicle.
Turner's vehicle then spun sideways, and was struck by a car driven by 73 year old Marilynne Field of Potosi, Wisconsin.
Turner was taken to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The other two drivers were treated at the scene.
All of the vehicles became inoperable.
The accident remains under investigation by the Dubuque Police Department.
