At a check presentation on Wednesday, May 6, Tony Theisen, Vice President and Director of Purchasing for Theisen’s Home•Farm•Auto, presented a check for $31,701 to representatives from the American Heart Association in Eastern Iowa.  Throughout the month of April, area Theisen’s Home•Farm•Auto stores in Iowa sold paper hearts for $1 at checkouts to raise funds for the American Heart Association.  The annual Save-A-Heart campaign sold 26,701 hearts throughout the state, surpassing last year’s sales by more than 4,000 hearts.  In addition, Theisen’s contributed an additional $5,000 corporate gift in appreciation of their stores’ and customers’ efforts.  This marks Theisen’s largest contribution to date in their four-year history of the Save-A-Heart campaign.
