How Would You Rate “50 Shades Of Grey”

It's official, the new movie "50 Shades of Grey" will carry and "R" Rating, and not an "NC-17" rating which would have prohibited anyone from under 17 seeing the film.  See the STORY HERE 

I haven't read the book, but have talked to several people who have(including my wife).  From what I've been told I'm not sure this movie is suitable for kids under 17.  With the "R" rating you as a parent could take your child under 17.

Two questions, do you think this movie is appropriate for those under 17 and would you feel comfortable going to the movie with your child.  Again I haven't read the book, but from what I've heard I would answer no to both.  Interested in hearing your thoughts.   Drop me an email at ken.peiffer@townsquaremedia.com if you'd like to respond.
