Church will not be bringing a support act on tour with him; instead, he will play two full sets, with an intermission in between.
Church — a longtime public opponent of ticket scalpers — and his team are putting in place a new pre-sale process to help further fight scalpers and reward his fan club members: Fans must be registered for the Church Choir prior to the start of the pre-sale, and scalpers who pose as fans will be weeded out, a release reports. There will be no other pre-sales except for the Church Choir one, but more tickets have been set aside for that pre-sale, so fan club members will have a better shot at getting pre-sale tickets. Additionally all tickets will be delivered on a delayed timeline, just days before each show, to make it harder for scalpers to sell off their tickets.
Fans have until 11:59PM CT on Aug. 23 to register for the Church Choir in order to gain access to the Holdin’ My Own Tour pre-sale. The pre-sale will run from 11AM CT on Sept. 9 through 11:59PM CT on Sept. 11; fans will receive customized details via a text message. General on sale dates and times have not yet been revealed.
