Best and Worst of the ACM Awards

Hope you enjoyed last nights ACM Awards from A T & T Stadium in Texas.   Looked and sounded like everyone had a good time.  Most of the awards went the way I thought they would.  Personally I would have voted for the Zac Brown Band over Little Big Town for "Group of the Year", but I'm okay with LBT winning. For a complete list of winner CLICK HERE.  For me the highlights were Garth's performance with all the military men and women walking in. CLICK HERE to see it  And it was also great to see Brooks & Dunn together again. CLICK HERE .  I would love to see their show with Reba in Las Vegas,  As for my lowlights....I wish they would let the new artists sing ALL of their song and not a shortened version. I know they do it to save time, but what better way to show the strength of country music then with the new artists. Also most of the artists that won, had a hard time finding the camera for their acceptance speech.  I think they should have done a better job explaining to the artists where to stand and where to look. And lastly,didn't really care much for the song with Dan & Shay and Nic Jonas either.  I know the Academy thinks it's cool to put different types of artists together, but for me personally it gave me a chance to leave the room and grab a snack.  All in all I would give the show a A-.  What did think?  Would love to hear from you.  Email me at ken.peiffer@townsquaremedia.com.
