McDonald’s Confirms Return of Spectacular Item in Iowa

I'm a fast food fan. I shouldn't eat as much as I do, but I never really feel too bad while I am eating it.

My wife eats far less fast food, but she was excited when I told her McDonald's is bringing back one of her favorites.

If you're a fan of this bygone product, be prepared to make a return to the drive-thru.

McDonald's Bringing Back an Old Favorite

The popular fast food giant recently took to X... yes, formerly Twitter (can we stop saying that yet?) to announce, cryptically, that they are listening to fans and reintroducing a menu item they killed off not terribly long ago.

So, what is set to return? George Costanza's favorite, the McDLT? nope. Crispy Tenders? Naw. Though it is a chicken option...

The returning menu item teased by McDee's is the snack wrap.

Though no specific date was given, McDonald's gave us a pretty good timeframe...

This dropped on April 15. Clearly, April is out because of the "0" in the tweet; we know it will be May-September.

Because attention spans are so short, can we assume it's May 15, right?

How Popular is the Snack Wrap?

The snack wrap, introduced in 2006 and phased out in 2016, has gained legendary status since being eliminated from menus.

People online have gone out of their way to create copycat recipes.

It's always more work to make your own...

...And now you won't have to. At least when that mystery date, the 15th of an upcoming month, gives us the return of the snack wrap.
