Officials with the Great Jones County Fair have just announced that a "Worldwide" artist will be performing on Friday, July 21st 2023 at the fair. And tickets are going on sale just in time to be the perfect stocking stuffer!

Make that "Mr. Worldwide!" Yes, Pitbull, one of the most popular and ubiquitous music stars of the last 15 years, will be performing at the 2023 Great Jones County Fair. He'll be taking the stage in Monticello in what is shaping up to be another strong lineup for the annual fair.

Pitbull needs no introduction, but I'll give him one anyway. Since he stormed on the scene in the early-to-mid 2000s, he's sold over 25 million studio albums and 100 million singles worldwide. His fusion of hip-hop, reggaetón, and Latin sounds make his appeal justify his nickname. Since 2020, he's accumulated over 15 billion views on YouTube, and was inside the top 50 for Top Artists of the 2010s, per Billboard metrics.

Beyond being a perennial hitmaker, he's also been extremely visible in the world of philanthropy, having embraced various Latino American activist causes since he became one of the world's biggest stars. He did a concert exclusively for first responders in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, in 2021, he became a co-owner of the NASCAR Cup Series team Trackhouse Racing.

Some of his most popular tunes include "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer, and "Timber" featuring Ke$ha. Both songs hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

Tickets to see Pitbull on July 21st will go on sale on Friday, November 25th, just in time to be the perfect Black Friday buy for a stocking stuffer for the concert fanatic in your life. Details on the cost were not immediately available. No less, his presence adds to what is shaping up to be a crowded roster of A-listers at the Great Jones County Fair.

Country stars Jon Pardi and Russell Dickerson will both perform on Saturday, July 22nd. Tickets for that twofer are already on sale via the Great Jones County Fair's website. Stay posted on the fair's website and social media for ticket information regarding Pitbull's upcoming performance!
