The movie 50 Shades of Grey opens across the US this weekend. It was given an "X" rating at first, but later was given a "R" rating meaning no one under 18 could see the movie without a parent.  That is how it will remain to be rated here in the US, Folks in France feel a little different.  Earlier this week they voted to allow children as young as 12 to see the movie there.  12!  What sense does it make to let a 12 year old see this movie featuring more then 20 minutes of Sex scenes.  Not everyone on the board in France voted for the 12 and over rating.....some voted for NO rating at all!   Meaning anyone of ANY age could view the film,  See the entire story HERE  I'm not saying we do everyone thing perfect here in the US, but from what I've heard about this movie, and from the clips I've seen, I can't imagine giving the movie anything lower the "R".  I've got a 20 year old daughter and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with her seeing this movie.
