On July 1st, 2015, at 9:33 p.m. Dubuque Police responded to the area of 15th and Iowa Streets on the report of shots fired with people injured.  As officers arrived on scene, numerous individuals fled in multiple directions.  Two injured subjects were located and identified as Frank D. Washington Jr., 20, and Joshua D. Hale, 18, both of Dubuque.  Each had suffered a single gunshot wound with neither being life-threatening.  Both were treated and released from local hospitals.  While officers were at the hospital with one of the above subjects, a third individual arrived via private transport, also suffering from a gunshot wound related to this incident.  This third subject was identified as Keanu L. Arnold, 20, of Dubuque.  Arnold was admitted to the hospital but his wound is not believed to be life-threatening.  Indications are the individuals involved were known to one another and this was not a random act of violence.  No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing despite minimal cooperation from witnesses and others involved.
