The 'Toy Story' series may be over on the big screen (for the time being), but the adventures of Buzz, Woody and the rest of the gang seem destined to continue on the small screen for the foreseeable future. Last year saw the lovable cast of toys face down a horror movie-style threat in the Halloween special 'Toy Story of Terror,' and this year will bring the Christmas special 'Toy Story That Time Forgot.'

And, since they got 'Hellboy' creator and comic book artist royalty Mike Mignola to create a poster for the event, it's starting to look like this won't be our average animated TV special.

Before we go any further, here's the incredibly vague plot description of 'Toy Story That Time Forgot':

During a post-Christmas play date, the gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It's all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie's room in this Toy Story That Time Forgot.

Looking at this Comic-Con poster (which you can see below), it's obvious that those cool new action figures are badass He-Man-meets-'Jurassic Park' guys that are featured so prominently. And it's no wonder that the synopsis calls out Trixie the triceratops as the hero necessary to save the day -- when you have a dinosaur problem, the best possible solution is obviously a dinosaur.

We're actually a little disappointed that the likes of Buzz and Woody aren't on the poster because we'd kill to see those characters drawn by Mignola. However, this poster does give us Mignola drawing a mace-wielding dinosaur barbarian, so we're thankful for that much.

There is no official air date for 'Toy Story That Time Forgot' quite yet, but November or early December sounds about right. [Ed. note: if you're at Comic-Con, you can get an autographed copy of one of these posters at the 'Toy Story That Time Forgot' panel on Thursday at 11:15am.]
