Too Many Award Shows?

Last night it was the Oscars, earlier this month the Grammy's, and a couple weeks before that Golden Globe and People's Choice awards. Don't know about you, but I think there are a few too many awards show.  I don't go to many movies, so I almost never watch the Oscars. The Grammy's have way too much music that I've either never heard of...or don't really care for.  I did watch some of the Golden Globes and a little of the People's Choice Awards,,but certainly could have lived without both.   To avoid being all negative they're are 2 awards shows I try not to miss.  The ACM's in the spring and the CMA's in the fall.  Both shows feature what I'm most comfortable with...Country Music.  What do think.  Too many award shows?  Not enough?  Would love to hear from you at ken.peiffer@townsquaremedia.com.
