Hard to believe but TODAY I will be celebrating my 50th Birthday.   When your a kid 50 seems really old.  But now that I about to hit the half century mark 50 doesn't seem old at all.  They say your only as old as you feel....and to be honest I feel about the same as I did when I turned 30.  Yeah, the knees may hurt a little more some days, and it's a little harder to get out bed some mornings(especially Thursdays!).  But all in all I think I'm doing OK.  Thanks to everyone for the well wishes via facebook, email, and text.  Don't know how long this ride will last, but thank you to everyone for coming along.   And thanks to the staff at WJOD (both on air and behind the scenes) for this morning's mini celebration.  Good thing I'm in radio and not TV, because that blue and black frosting did a number on my teeth.  Maybe I should have included an "after" picture too.  Either way, thanks again for giving me the chance to something I truly enjoy...being on the radio.  Hopefully we can do this again in 10 years when I turn 60.  Till then remember...just because I make it look easy, doesn't mean it isn't "work".   Below is a list of a few other things turning 50 this year.  Have a great weekend!  Ken
