Scholarship Opportunity

The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) is offering ten $1,500 scholarships to high school seniors planning to pursue agricultural studies at an Iowa college. Applications are due by March 1 and winners will be announced April 15. Scholarships will be awarded to one student in each of Iowa’s nine crop districts and, from those recipients, one student will be selected to receive an additional $1,500. Scholarship applications are available at www.iasoybeans.com/Scholarships and request the following items:

• A 650-word essay addressing “What role would you like to be playing in agriculture and/or the soybean industry in the five years following graduation?”
• Three letters of recommendation
• Submission of four copies of each document
