Ken’s First 5K
Congrats to all of the runners & walkers in yesterday's Grey Ribbion Open at Senior High School.
My wife Shari and I joined nearly 300 other participants is raising money for brain cancer research. Our brother-in-law James Kremer passed away from brain cancer just two month's ago. As you can see by our t-shirts we were "Jogging for James". I also took part to honor my mother Rose Peiffer who passed away from cancer last August. It was great to see such a great turnout for this event, but that unfortunately means even more people's lives are being touched by cancer. Again thanks to everyone who was part of this great event. On a personal note, I did record my personal best time for a 5K(it was my first 5K so I'm not sure how big a deal that is) Below are some pictures from the event. Ken
