Jim Carrey delivered a bizarre and somewhat concerning interview at NYFW in Manhattan on Friday, where he caught up with E! News at Harper's Bazaar's Icons party at The Plaza Hotel and declared, "There's no meaning to any of this."

"I wanted to find the most meaningless thing that I could come to and join and here I am," he deadpanned to a bewildered and visibly uncomfortable Catt Sadler. "I don't believe in icons."

"I don't believe in personalities. I believe that peace lies beyond personalities, beyond invention and disguise, beyond the red 'S' you wear on your chest, that makes bullets bounce off," he continued, after doing an impromptu impression of James Brown. "I didn't get dressed up. There is no me. There's just things happening."

When Sadler attempted to steer the conversation back to current events happening in the world, Carrey interrupted her before patting her on the shoulder and walking off: "It's not our world...We don't matter."
