Country singer Jerrod Niemann and his wife Morgan Petek have divorced. The couple had been married for just over four years.

According to Nash Country Daily, which confirmed the news of Niemann and Petek's split, Petek filed for divorce on June 18, 2018, and the divorce became finalized on Dec. 17 of that year. Petek's filing cited "irreconcilable differences."

Niemann paid his now-ex-wife a $170,000 cash lump sum, according to the final ruling on their divorce. Petek received a Nashville-area home, which she paid the mortgage on, while Niemann received assets, including another Nashville-area house, in a family trust, and the rights to two LLCs related to his music career. Both Niemann and Petek retained their cars, and neither is eligible for alimony payments.

Niemann and Petek got married in October of 2014, but had known each other for more than a decade before tying the knot. They do not have any children together.
