I had the opportunity to attend a Memorial service with Hospice of Dubuque last night  The service was a celebration of those loved ones we have lost in the last 10 months including my Mom, Rose Peiffer and my uncle Herb Peiffer. It was a very nice service to celebrate the time we did have with our loved ones.  I miss my Mom every day but I know she is now spending her time with the love of her life, my Dad, Joe Peiffer who passed away in May of 2012.   I cannot say enough about the services Hospice provided for my Mom, my uncle and for my Mother-In-Law Carol several years ago.  But let me sum it up this way.....Hospice is like life insurance...we are never in a hurry to use it, but are fortunate to have it when we need it. Thanks again to all of the Hospice workers and volunteers.  This holiday season you'll be asked to donate to a lot of Non-Profit groups.  Here's hoping you make Hospice of Dubuque one of them.  I know I will.  Ken
