Here's your chance to support a local author...a small town guy just like a lot of us.

Hopkington, Iowa Author Pat Jaeger announces the nationwide release of his new book, “Dan,” where she shares a compelling story about letting go of the past.

In “Dan,” the author introduces an evil that can only be defeated by one man. This evil has stormed into the rural Missouri’s small town of Hilldale. A wolf in sheep’s clothing is hunting too close to home, and Lund County Sheriff Dan Halloran’s job is to stop him. Halloran, who grew up being betrayed by his own father, struggles with his faith, with his thoughts about forgiveness and about ways to let go of the past — struggles which has opened himself to love.

With this difficult case at his heels, Halloran’s personal life starts to tangle with his professional life. However, with the help and hindrance of three spunky octogenarians and the guileless love of an old classmate’s young son, Sheriff Halloran heads into the eye of the storm that has engulfed his life.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
